We’re working on several new beer recipes that may be considered for a full production batch. The recipes need to be perfected before consideration, and we need your feedback to refine the recipes. Each test batch is extremely limited in quantity (approximately 30 pints), so it will run out quickly.

Rye Hefeweizen

ABV: 4.75%
SRM: 22
IBU: 15
Roggenbier is a German style beer that is similar to dunkelweizen (dark wheat beer) except rye malt is used instead of wheat.  The rye malt provides a subtle spiciness that compliments the spicy, fruity notes contributed by the hefeweizen yeast strain. Dark crystal and roasted malts add a noticeable bittersweet element. A good transitional beer as we move from winter to spring.
